What’s more, studies have shown that HIIT workout produce a greater flow of endorphins than steady state moderate exercise. 2. Increase Your Metabolism

Recent studies have linked HIIT workouts to higher metabolism rate after training. A higher rate of metabolism indicates a higher rate of energy consumption throughout the day, meaning that more fat can be burned throughout the day (just what we need inn winter!). When compared to moderate intensity exercises, HIIT training maintains a much higher metabolism rate post workout meaning you burn throughout the day.

HIIT is an efficient training style that allows the busiest of people to get their workouts done in a very short duration of time. We’ve designed our class structure on the knowledge that HIIT, or high-intensity interval training, is a training technique in which you give all-out, one hundred percent effort through quick, intense bursts of exercise, followed by short, sometimes active, recovery periods. This type of training gets and keeps your heart rate up and burns more fat in less time.

 

We use HIIT, meaning you will burn between 400 and 600 calories per RIDE class.

 

Because we offer full-body workouts, you will tone muscles and shred fat. Your metabolism will increase and thanks to the after-burn effect, you’ll keep burning fat even when you’re in the car on your way home after a class.
